An AI answer can sound certain without showing its source. A deployment can report success without making its lineage or runtime state clear. We build systems that keep the evidence attached. Cortex and Canopy Host are independent products built on that rule.

Mission
Verifiable over confident.
Company knowledge is scattered across docs, tickets, and code; what's actually running in production is scattered across dashboards and logs. Both problems have the same shape: the answer exists, but trusting it takes manual work with no way to check the result. AI answers should cite the source they came from, not just sound confident - a wrong answer stated with certainty is worse than no answer at all.
Cortex makes citations and human review a first-class part of every generated answer. Canopy Host makes deployment provenance and policy gates a first-class part of the pipeline. Same principle, two different problems.

How we work.
We use Canopy Host for this website. That keeps the product close to a real deployment path and gives us a reason to fix operational problems rather than explain them away. Forest is the execution layer beneath Canopy Host; Cortex remains a separate product with its own boundary.
